The Livingston Business Improvement District (LBID)was formed in early 2011 with the goal to perform a variety of services to improve the image of Livingston and promote the individual and unique businesses located in the downtown area. The MISSION of LBID is to enhance the vitality of downtown Livingston by facilitating commerce, enhancing streetscapes, conducting maintenance and improving safety and security. the District also seeks to carry out economic development services by working to attract, retain and expand businesses. With that said, LBID strives to allocate funds toward events, programs and needs in the District area that address the following priorities:

  • Economic development
  • Streetscape enhancement and beautification
  • Area maintenance
  • Security

If the goals and/or pbjectives of your organization, program or special event comply with the LBID priorities, we ask that you complete and submit the following application in order for our Board of Dirctors to review for funding consideration.

  • Banner Program The LBID Banner Program in intended to:
    • Identify the downtown service area;
    • Add vibrancy and vitality to the downtown streetscapes;
    • and,
    • Publicize a diverse range of events, activites and attractions

  • Downtown Flower Baskets In 2013, LBID began the Flower Basket project and every summer since then, beautiful flowers adorn the new classic-style street light poles within the downtown district, bringing many color, fragrant and fresh displays. Enjoy!

  • G.L.O.A.T.S. The fifth annual Greater Livingston Outdoor Adventure Toy Swap was hosted in May 2017. This event brings in recreation and outdoor toys for resale and proceeds are donated to the Park County Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Livingston. Check their Facebook Page for details.

  • Livingston HOOT Each year, this annual and free community sponsored event provides fun, food and music on historic Main Street in Livingston. With a kid's fun area available, and vendors with food, drink, art and more on Main Street, this event drew more than 5,000 participatns and spread across three blocks in 2016!
